jscher has been very helpful with my intense dislike of Version 89, but in the last few days, something changed here and I can't get back into that discussion.

I updated my upstairs PC to 89, then was absolutely horrified when I saw it. It's ugly. There is little to no differentiation between the different parts of the screen. My Bookmarks list had so much extra white space added that I had to scroll down three screens to see it all - it used to fit on one page.

You made the type smaller and the bubbles larger.

You changed the ENTIRE Options menu so it's now hard to find what I want, and some functions have been removed.

Also, your STOP POPUPS no longer works AT ALL. I am being inundated with them.

I was so angry at this terrible Facebook-like new version that I deleted FF completely, ran CCleaner and re-loaded Version 88. Of course I lost all my favorites while doing this. When I went back upstairs a few hours later, the update was re-done WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Very sneaky.

I found out how to shut off all the Proton stuff, so I can now use FF upstairs. I see tons of "fixes" using CSS stuff, which I am not comfortable using. A browser should make these options EASY!

You say this is a "new, clean look." You didn't take into consideration that many users like the way it looked before, and don't want to re-learn an entire new program. Please add back in choices for those of us who are not IT geek coders and just need a simple, FUNCTIONING browser.

A friend suggested that I make complaints about specific items, so I've spelled out what I can as well as I could, hoping someone at Firefox will read it.

Specifically, not a question, just changes I don't like. :-)
