I have my Linux box and my Android phone connected to my Firefox account, and both are set to sync bookmarks, logins, and passwords. However, only the passwords will sync. The bookmarks on my Linux box do not appear on my Android phone, even after hitting the "sync now" button. Similarly, website logins are not syncing, either, and I need to sign in on my Android device, even if I'm already signed in on my Linux box. I just noticed that every time I hit "sync now" on my Android phone, the "bookmarks" checkbox is changed to unchecked. What's going on? I've tried logging out of my Firefox account on both devices, and logging back in, but the issue persists.

What happens if you force a Sync from the laptop first (then wait a few minutes before going online with your phone)?

Same result regardless of which is manually synced first. I ended up exporting the bookmarks html from my desktop and importing it on my phone, but now I won't know if it's just delayed or if it's still broken. When I manually sync on my phone, it keeps unchecking the "bookmarks" checkbox. Can't figure out why.

Are bookmarks selects to be synccd in both copies of Firefox? Do you have any other copies of Firefox connected to your account?

Yes, on both the laptop and Android. But when I try to manually sync on Android, the bookmarks option un-selects itself.

No, just my laptop (Linux) and phone (Android). As much as possible, the settings are the same on both.

Okay.

If you open https://accounts.firefox.com/, sign into your account, and under Connected Services, remove any instances of Firefox for Android or entries that appear to be your mobile device.

When this is done, trigger a manual Sync from Firefox on your desktop, then wait an hour. From Firefox for Android, connect to your Firefox Account.
