How to restore "Favorites". Using the Sign in with Firefox. Possible to escalate to a system engineer?
Team,
Recently I logged into my Firefox account as to where I had likely over 60 URL favorites fully categorized. It now apparent that I would like to have a systems administrator to see if we could manually look through my history and have my old favorites I have in the system able to restore and shoot back to me. Its worth it as It took 2 weeks to have these favorites created and organized and I am sortof at a work stoppage due to this issue. Anyone ever had this kind of issue escalated or have a techie with mozilla able to restore back something that may have been over-written or over synced and now when I login no longer shows my URLs that I have all categorized and favorite-ed?

Hi
Thank you for your question about the Firefox Sync service.
It appears from your question, that you are using Firefox Sync as a back up service. This is not what Sync is designed to do. The Firefox Sync service takes a copy of the data you wish to include and transfers it to a second device (typically a mobile device such as a tablet or a telephone) running a copy of Firefox. The storage in between all attached devices is both temporary and fragile and is not stable enough to be (and is not designed as) a reliable backup service.
If you have a copy of your Firefox profile for desktop Firefox, you may be able to recover your bookmarks and other data. Please have a read of this article.
If you have a copy of your data on a mobile version of Firefox, please follow these instructions to connect it to Firefox Sync to copy your data.
Seburo,
Thank you for this information. This was extraordinarily useful information. Unfortunately I do not have a manual back of the favorites. So you know if one of or how to get in touch with on of the Firefox Sync Engineers may be able to dig out my favorites for a one time recover from the Firefox Sync.
