Firefox uses the resolutions the RTX Nvidia gives it to use. It has no control on the RTX driver software.
Do you understand what the "RTX Video Super Resolution" is about? as you seem to think it is about resolutions. https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2023/02/28/rtx-video-super-resolution/
I think you don't fully understand what RTX video super resolution is it has nothing to do with resolution it about AI-powered upscaling feature enhances streaming video content in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers and absolutely nothing to do with resolution perhaps you should read the article you posted so you fully understand it. All I want to know is if firefox will have this feature in the future a simple yes or no will sufice.
So to be clear all that RTX video super resolution does is take a lower resolution video (ex. 1080p) and upscale it to 4K but it only will work on Chrome and Edge, got it ?

I do understand, it was Dropa that did not understand if you actually read my post. Since you replied right after my post without quoting I assume you directed this towards me and not Dropa.
I do think it will be nice if the Firefox web browser can work with this RTX feature, hopefully on both Windows and Linux. macOS users are not likely to have these RTX 3000/4000 cards.

I really hope that Mozilla implements support for this quickly, instead of dragging their feet like they currently are with HDR support (they only just recently announced that they're looking into implementing HDR, over a decade after HDR displays first started hitting the market).
I want to keep using Firefox forever, but with each new feature getting added to Chromium over the years that Fx lacks, it's getting more and more difficult to stay loyal to this organization.
PLEASE, Mozilla, don't let the people down. Please make RTX Super Resolution support a top priority for your next major update!
EDIT: Dropa, if you have nothing useful to add to the conversation, you should not be wasting your time replying. nVidia themselves stated that it's up to the browser to include support.

Dropa was the one with the nothing useful to add to the conversation post, yet you say I am the one with not a useful comment. I only made a second reply because the OP replied without quoting to show whom is being replied to. When you reply without quoting or saying the poster name in their post, then one can assume it can be in response to the post above.
Also I guess you are not aware that this is a community support forum and is not a platform to contacting Mozilla in some way directly as people at Mozilla will not likely see your " PLEASE, Mozilla, don't let the people down. Please make RTX Super Resolution support a top priority for your next major update! " comment.
You may get feedback looked at more if you posted at say https://connect.mozilla.org/
Perhaps you should only post if you have something useful to add to the conversation as your post was not anything more useful compared to my OP. Anyways this is getting off topic thanks to your comment towards me and your own nothing useful to add to the conversation post.

My fault. I meant to address to Dropa. No need to get so offended. I must have seriously triggered you since you typed up several paragraphs.
Regardless, Mozilla sees these posts and often replies to them (like they did in the HDR thread recently). So it still makes sense to address them directly on this forum.
Please follow bug 1823135. The first patch is already there.
