Is there a minimum pane size in Thunderbird 112.0b1 64 Bit

Since upgrading to Thunderbird 112.0b1 64 Bit, it seems that there is a preset minimum size for the panes. Would like to be able to make the incoming message list pane only a few messages tall. Currently unable to minimize under about 8 messages high. Seems to be the case with all panes in new layout, there is a min width and height. Is there a setting limiting the mins ?

On my Mac I can get it to 10 messages high.
