trying to update to latest firefox I'm 3.6.18 But it says NO UPDATES available

If you mean to 6.0 try updating now, everything seems to have been screwed up this last week or two with strange things happening yesterday.

The www.mozilla.org which is usually better for updates without messing things up does not tell what version it would download if your press the green button on page.

The www.mozilla.com site yesterday indicated 5.0.1 yet for a couple weeks no update would be found when asked in Firefox from 5.0 Today it indicates 6.0 and 5.0.1 got updated to 6.0 when I asked it to. It too had check for updates and ask, but did not find any updates until today and that wasn't checked automatically.

Yesterday my 3.6.18 got updated as soon as I brought it up to 5.0.1 today it went to 6.0 (I had check for updates, like within 3.6.* but I also had ask me, no respect)

I also don't get the update notice to Firefox 6.0. It only gave me the update to Firefox 3.6.20 and when I checked again, after installing Firefox 3.6.20 update, it says No Update Available. I used the Check For Updates option under Help.

Will it not automatically give us the latest version (Firefox 6.0) if not using Firefox 4 or 5?

It may be a week or so before the Firefox 3.6.x to Firefox 6 update is turned on, based upon what I have seen happen in the past. If you want Firefox 6 now, download the full installer package and install it.
