I have set "Options/General/When Firefox starts: Show my windows and tabs from last time" but it never does and the "History" - "Restore previous session" option is greyed out. Any ideas how I can get it to restore previous sessions?
I'm running Firefox on a Dell Precision 64 bit with Win 7 and have set "Options/General/When Firefox starts: Show my windows and tabs from last time" but it never does and if I go to "History" the "Restore previous session" option (plus the "Recently closed tabs" and the "Recently closed windows" options) is greyed out. Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.
- https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Private+Browsing
- You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
- To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
- Deselect: [ ] "Permanent Private Browsing mode"

I have never run Firefox in Private Browsing mode. - Tools>Options>Privacy has the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history. - "Permanent Private Browsing Mode" is not selected.
