Can Firefox clearly show if all, part, or none of a web site is loaded from local cache?
Today I was trying to debug a problem with a site which was ultimately due to a firewall change, but because Firefox was showing me some cached content the behaviour was difficult to understand. If I hadn't thought about caching I would still be scratching my head now. Is there an addon / other function that can clearly indicate on the status bar or elsewhere if any content is pulled from cache?

Not that I know of. Maybe Firefox > Web Developer > Web Console (Net > Log), but that displays a lot of data.
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
- Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
For debugging the loading behavior you can make a http log. In the log you can read if the cache is used. HTTP_Logging
