Ctrl - Shift - T only works with caps-lock and a few more bizarre errors.
Hi, Firefox is continuously bringing uo rather strange issues. One of my plugins (ShareMeNot, it disables those like buttons) suddenly stopped working. Also Ctrl-Shift-T did not work anymore. I resetted firefox, nothing changed. I reinstalled Firefox, the problem persisted. Also the download manager just opened in a new tab, even though I never changed any settings. I'm now using custom settings for privacy and the download manager works again, and so does ShareMeNot. (Disabled "Always browse in private mode")
I now found out that Ctrl - Shift - T to re-open a closed tab is possible, but just when Caps-Lock is activated. Also, even though I disabled my German language pack, Firefox still gives me German shortcuts like "Umschalt+Strg+Entf" in the menus. Does anyone have a solution for this? I do find these errors quite strange...
Thank you :)

create a new profile, does that help?
I just tried a completely new profile, without any imported data, and it still did not work; just with caps-lock activated.
When you uninstall did you delete all the Firefox install folders? under /usr/lib ?
You may be running Firefox in Private Browsing if the about:downloads page opens in a (new) tab instead of opening the Downloads folder in the Library.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode (Never Remember History).
- Edit > Preferences > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
- Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
Firefox uses Ctrl-Shift-T to reopen a closed tab. There would seem to be a conflict with the key functions.
