FF 26.0 does not support Download Statusbar. Alternative?
Looking for an alternative to the add on "Download Statusbar" that will work in Firefox version 26 - something that will show the status of a download and when it completes.
Widows 7 Professional with all updates, Firefox version 26.

The author of the "Download Statusbar Fixed" extension says "If you are looking for a working Download Statusbar add-on for Firefox 26, check new Download Status Bar add-on."
The Download Status Bar extension is updated for the new download manager (that has been in Firefox since 20.0).

In another thread, someone suggested this one: S3.Download Statusbar (I haven't tried it myself)
Thanks jscher2000. A previous reply suggested "Download Statusbar Fixed" add-on. I added it and it seems to be working just like the old one. If it does have problems I will try your suggestion.
