ClearThink was causing my Norton 360 program to advise me that this was a security threat and to remove it. It showed it as being under my Program Files and that it downloaded into my computer today (08/16/2014), but I never did any download of it. I also saw it in my Firefox as an extension and removed it. However, it still showed up in my program files after doing that, so I also uninstalled it there as well, which required me to reboot. I then went back to my Program Files to be certain it was gone, which it was, but I also noticed another program file just above where ClearThink had been located -- it was a program file called Astromenda which also showed the same date (today) for its origination. I recalled, once the ClearThink somehow had gotten installed today without my knowledge, my default search engine of Google had changed to Yahoo and when I went to get rid of Yahoo as a newly-added search engine, I noticed that somehow Astromenda had become another newly-added search engine in Firefox also. So, I clicked on "manage my search engines" and removed both, leaving Google as my only search engine. Is there any other place I have to go in my computer's files to be certain I've gotten rid of all the things that downloaded into my system today without me realizing it? I'm just now recalling that earlier today, I had received some message that there was an update waiting to be downloaded for Final Media?) Player and I clicked on it to download the update. Is it possible these were other programs that automatically piggybacked onto that update download? If so, I just realized I don't think I even use Final Media Player! Should I remove that program also if it's the likely culprit that brought the other stuff along with it?
