How to uninstall PlugIn "OpenH264 Video-Codec" ?
How can I uninstall "OpenH264 Video-Codec"-PlugIn from my PC ?
Every other plugin could be uninstalled from the source folder.
As user I would chose for my own, which plugin I want to install on my PC, but I do not want to be forced to have a plugin installed on my PC, which I could not uninstall if I want to. I do not even know if I am in need to use "OpenH264 Video-Codec"-PlugIn or not. And since this plugin is installed in the plugin folder, I have some technical problems to use firefox and to chose websites from internet.
Please send me some information how to uninstall "OpenH264 Video-Codec"-PlugIn.

Open up Help > Troubleshooting Information, then hit the Show Folder button.
Folder name is \gmp-gmpopenh264 then open the \1.1 folder. File name is gmp-gmpopenh264.dll. Delete that file and that Plugin should be gone.
You can set the media.gmp-gmpopenh264.provider.enabled pref to false on the about:config page.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
Hello the-edmeister,
thanks for your support and your answer.
If I would delete the file gmp-gmpopenh264.dll, it should solve this problem for first, but if mozilla updates a new firefox version, it seems to be there for the next time, and I appreciate to have not this plugin on my PC. I think this is something unusual for a serious firefox user, that for every time for new, this file gmp-gmpopenh264.dll have to be deleted, if I do not want to have it on my PC. But I prefer not to have this file gmp-gmpopenh264.dll automatically installed. If someone is interested in to install this file gmp-gmpopenh264.dll for using it, there should be another way to download and to install, but not to have it automatically on a PC, and to read somewhere in internet, that this file is something about adware or malware.
I want to please mozilla.support, not to install this file gmp-gmpopenh264.dll anymore with forthcoming updates.
Thank you.

This openH264 plugin is currently only used for WebRTC and not for playing videos.
Hello cor-el,
I am not interested in openH264 plugin.
I think it would be better, if someone is interested in installing this openH264 plugin, that mozilla.org would offer it like all other addons or plugins at mozilla.org, and it would not be installed automatically.
