Most everything that Thunderbird can do is accessible via the menu. Unfortunately they have chosen to hide the traditional menu, where you'd find "Print" under "File". It's probably in the new menu, which is a button with three horizontal stripes, but I can't tell you exactly where to look.

F10 or the <alt> key should make the traditional menu appear temporarily. If you go to View and then Toolbars you'll see checkboxes to permanently select the menu and other toolbars.

Alternatively, you can customise your toolbar and add a print button to it.
