Hello, I am running Firefox ESR v52.5.3, which at the moment is the most up-to-date ESR release. I am running ESR due to Google Hangouts video extension that I require for video conferencing. However, as of this week, I am unable to play Amazon Videos on Firefox ESR v52.5.3 due to updated Amazon Video playback requirements for browsers. I get an error message from Amazon telling me to update to the latest version of Firefox: "Mozilla Firefox Update Required A later version of Mozilla Firefox is required for Amazon Video. To update, click the menu button (three horizontal stripes) on the web browser toolbar, click About Firefox, and then click Restart to update Firefox." Will there be new ESR build that is supported by Amazon Video or is there a workaround? Guess I have to jump over to Edge or Chrome, but prefer not have to use multiple browsers if possible. Thank you for your time and help.

Firefox 52.6.0esr will be coming on January 23. The Firefox 52.9.0esr out on July 3rd will likely be the last update for 52 ESR. The Firefox 52 ESR useragent looks like you are using the Firefox 52.0 Release so Amazon may be expecting users to be using a more current Release.

The next major version of Firefox ESR will be based on 60.0 out on May 8th.

I don't see an actual answer to the question here. My Firefox is up to date, Above I see that there is something coming out in May, and something in July. There has to be a better answer than this. Simply put, what do I have to do in order for Amazon to be happy? How can I revert to something pre-ESR, or opt out of ESR? Which version of Firefox can I revert to? Could I uninstall Firefox altogether, reinstall and hopefully not make the mistake of signing up for ESR?
