Hi, I've been experiencing a problem sending emails to a particular ISP address e.g. anyone with an email to @xtra.co.nz. The message I keep receiving is 554 5.7.1 Message rejected due to possible spam content.

I wonder if it has something to do with Thunderbird because the rejection happens in the sending process.

The email addresses are in my address book and they haven't been blacklisted. AND unusually, sometime the emails go through and sometimes they don't!! Go figure? I'd really appreciate it if anyone has any ideas ;-) Many thanks, Belynda

Some people experience this due to content they placed in their signature. If using a signature try sending without it.

It sure has nothing to do with if they are in your address book. The receiving providers server has issue to the content of your message or the reputation of your provider.
