Hi. My Firefox has updated to 60 .....seemingly against my will. (I think I had 47 before.) Previously I had new-tab-tiles and I could pin them. I did not have "Pocket" All I want is this back. I do NOT want to sign up for "Pocket"

Can anyone help please?

Hi, there was a big change to Firefox in v57 (Quantum).

You can click the gear icon at the top right of the New Tab page and deselect Recommended by Pocket https://help.getpocket.com/article/1142-firefox-new-tab-recommendations-faq

Further info on the New Tab page Customize your Firefox New Tab page.

To remove Pocket completely, Type about:config into the address bar, press Enter, accept the warning, scroll down the alphabetical list to extensions.pocket.enabled and double click on it to change 'Value' from True to False.

If you really don't like the new New Tab, you can try an extension, such as https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-tools/

To control updates, open the 3-bar menu > Options > General > Firefox Updates (Allow Firefox to). Before you ask! Rolling back to an older version can cause a lot of problems, not to mention reduced security etc.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!
