Sounds like a problem with favicons.sqlite and places.sqlite. If you use Sync then best is to disconnect Sync temporarily during troubleshooting. You can check for problems with the <b>places.sqlite</b> and <b>favicons.sqlite</b> files in the Firefox profile folder. *use "Verify Integrity" button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page In case errors are reported with "Verify Integrity" close and restart Firefox and retry. If "Verify Integrity" cannot repair places.sqlite, rename/remove all <b>places.sqlite</b> and <b>favicons.sqlite</b> files in the Firefox profile folder. Hi have the same problem. But after so many troubleshooting think I found the solution here - https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/7jur2f/help_firefox_wont_update_this_small_reddit_logo/dra7qr6/?context=8&depth=9 I did try deleting caches, history etc but those didnt solve the problem completely. I still get the wrong logo after restarting my pc. Hope this helps :)
