hi, sorry this question is offtopic to this forum which is about support for firefox and other mozilla products.

edit: i've been made aware that the question might be about an extension for firefox, so i'm reopening the thread although i'm unsure how to provide a verdict on third-party addons...

Contact the bank and make sure the add-on is from them.
Don't be afraid to ask them why you need it.
