Hi,

The new update to V78 of Thunderbird stopped my outlook emails working correctly I couldn't find out why. So I downgraded thunderbird to V68 and had trouble restoring profiles due to V78 profile making adjustments to the profile. I then uninstalled v68 and reinstalled V78 and cannot restore my V78 profile. I keep receiving the message on V78 'You have launched an older version of Thunderbird' A newer version of thunderbird has made changes to your profile etc. I am in a fix, I have no access to my work or personal emails through thunderbird.

I would be grateful for any advice.

Thanks

Try this: close TB, Windowskey+R, type thunderbird.exe -p --allow-downgrade select the correct profile, OK.
