Firefox should stay out of politics.

Good Day,

I received a mozilla pop up this morning, implying that we should fall in line with the new politics by being respectful of the way we should employ your service, and should all respect calm and order now and not use this medium for opinions not your own. We've had enough propoganda and disinformation from BOTH 'sides' from high tech media like yourselves. Don't be a google PLEASE. It's why I came to you quite some time ago And I've been extremely happy with Firefox/Mozilla and DuckDuckGo

I hope you don't delete my account for saying these words. If you do, I'll know which agenda you'll be pushing in days to come.  :)

Thanks for this opportunity and time to still speak freely. Just an old man in the Arizona Desert, BobG

Firefox, and any browser, displays what the website sends.

Is this with all websites/pages, some, a few?

Hi BobG, I don't think I've seen the message you mentioned, but I'll make some general comments:

Firefox is web browser you can use without signing up for any services, other than your internet service. Firefox connects directly through your service provider to the web.

Many people don't want to hear anything from Mozilla that isn't about Firefox itself. "Stay in your lane," they'll say. But Mozilla was never just about browser software.

Mozilla -- the nonprofit foundation behind Firefox -- was created with a mission to promote a healthy open web. It's a difficult challenge. This often involves advocating policy positions such as regulations of monopolies, and involving users in campaigns such as pressuring companies to improve their privacy practices. You can learn more about the principles that guide Mozilla's activities here:
