"clear recent history" feature - not available in tools tab it is not clcikable - winXP?
WinXP - When I click tools menu to clear recent history the feature is not available, I can see the name but it is greyed out and it is not clickable - the same for ctrl + shift del ... how can I fix this problem?
How do I clear the cache?

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.
To see all History and Cookie settings, choose:
- Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
- Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
