Stop Firefox from automatically selecting first item in drop down menu
On certain sites where drop down menus are used, I cannot select items on these menus because the first item on each menu is automatically selected when I drop the menu.

Ironically, this one, for example! If I select the drop down menu under my username at the top of this page (between 'Contributor Tools' and 'Inbox'), I am automatically forwarded to the View Profile page (the first link on this drop down menu).
This also happens on my banking website, www.bmoinvestorline.com, although the automatic forward happens much faster.
