All of the sudden all my tabs, history and bookmarks disappeared. We are getting browser open without all these items. We do not know how or what gone wrong but we never deleted anything. This happened within 5 minutes time. We got alert from anti virus to remove McAfee addon so we oked it after removal of this addon and when Mozila browser restarted on its own we show all our histories, tabs, addons, bookmarks and bookmarks toolbar are disappeared. Please do the needful.

This might have happened because Firefox has updated to 36.0.4, but this shouldn't have happened.
Did Firefox create a new profile or are you still using your previous Firefox profile folder?
Do you have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop?

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
