is there an easy way to duplicate a tab, like right click and select duplicat as in IE, just right slick on the tab and select duplicate tab. IO know there are a few work arounds requiring a few key strokes but I dislike memorizing multiple keystroke shortcuts. There has to be a really simple one click selection way to duplicate a tab (just like in IE) that I just can not seem to find.

Just being curious: why would you want to do that?
I think there may well be an add-on to do it the IE way. You could search here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/
Another built-in shortcut is to hold down the Ctrl key while dragging the tab to the desired position on the tab bar. When you release the mouse, the same page will load in the duplicate tab. When I tested, it seemed that some form data also carried over, although I can't say for sure that it will always be an exact copy of the page since the site might have code to force a refresh.
- Hold Ctrl (Mac: Command) and left-click or middle-click the Reload button on the location/address bar to open the current page in a new tab.
- Hold Ctrl (Mac: Command) and left-click or middle-click items in the tab history of the Back and Forward buttons to open a page from that list in a new tab
You can hold down the left mouse button on the Back or Forward button to open the tab history. - Duplicate a tab with its history by holding down the Ctrl key (Mac: Option key) and dragging the tab to a new position on the tab bar.

When following a link from a page does not access a desired result, it can become tedious to (repeatedly) return <go back> to the originator page {especially when there is no consistently reliable high speed Broadband available (only satellite-based here - which is the most advanced Broadband service available where I live) --> typical of low population & remote regions} . Reopening the originator page in a duplicate tab saves all that back-and-forth movement when clicking on those (as yet unknown) links. It can save a lot of moves (and time & frustration) - it's simply more efficient.

It appears that the add-on provider has removed the add-on. The Ctrl-drag technique works nicely. THANK You.
