How do I delete multiple emails at once such as clearing computer of all 2013 emails in a folder?
I want to remove the large amount of unneeded emails from past years without removing them one at a time. Is there some way to drag and highlight a large amount of emails and delete them all at once?

Is Thunderbird working on improving their mail handling, including deleting multiple emails at once. It is only a few simple steps away from being a great substitute for outlook.com. I know how to delete multiples but...
- could they not easily put a "Delete" button above the emails next to "Attachment".
- Could they not easily put selection boxes down the left side beside the Star selection.
Just these two things would allow so much quicker deletions using the mouse only instead of having to use two hands.

Did you right click the toolbar, select Customize and see if Delete is available?
