Wait a minute... What is the problem, exactly?
s.yimg.com is a server used by Yahoo for various files. It's common for large sites to use multiple different server addresses. If you block that server, Yahoo pages will be incomplete.
Are you seeing long delays in files loading from that address, is that the issue?
Here's an example of the abundance of files retrieved from s.yimg.com by the Yahoo home page (attached screenshot). This list was generated by Firefox's Network Monitor. If you would like to experiment with that, see this article for more info:

There are a lot of websites that latch onto this concern to sell you software, but I've never seen a reputable security vendor identify this Yahoo server as a problem, or any software by the same name. So be skeptical of the hype.

Firefox usually displays status messages in the lower left corner showing what it is loading or waiting on. Another tool you can check is the Network Monitor, which has timing bars to show which parts of a page are taking a long time to load.
But let's start with the obvious: many sites display a ton of ads, so if you haven't considered using an add-on to block ads, you might want to test one and see what difference it makes. For example:
thanks for your advice and reassurrance, i did run malwarebyes anti malware software and it did not identify any issues un like spyhunter.
i have ad blocker and pop up blocker i may need to different versions such as the one you suggested again many thanks
Personal opinion only, but I would not trust spyhunter or sites that link to it. You may find spyhunter alerts you to apparent issues but then just tells you you should use the paid for version of the software to resolve your issues.
