Hello. A few days ago, I received a notice from Mozilla, the latest update was ready to download. So I upgraded. Unfortunately, after doing so, the way I had Google configured, changed, as their BLACK MENU BAR disappeared and I can't get it back.

Normally, when I connect to the net with Firefox, Google appears as my default home page. At some time in the past, Google had removed their BLACK MENU BAR, so I searched for a fix because I like it. I found the fix here..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jACcFFIzdTM I copied the fix, which is https://www.google.com/?noj=1, and pasted it into the Firefox/Options-homepage field. It worked. But then, that setting changed after the latest Firefox update, so I RE-inserted the "fix" into the Options/homepage field again, but it doesn't work. I don't understand why, but it appears Firefox does something now that prevents the Black Menu Bar from loading. I even tried 2 " system restore" points, which didn't fix this problem either. Can anyone show me how to get the Google Black Menu Bar back?

Oh, btw, just after I updated, and connected to the net, A Mozilla page appeared for a few seconds, saying..THANK YOU FOR USING THE CORRECT MENU BAR...or something to that effect. That is why I think Firefox has something to do with this problem. thanx

That's weird. There's a "slider" within my post above. Don't have a clue how it got there.
