Initially, I was only getting this error on all videos on The Hill's website (see image), but it is beginning to appear on additional sites. All I have been able to find on the Web is that the error is related to jwplayer, but nothing about what is causing it. Since no one else seems to have reported the problem, so any suggestions about what I might do would be appreciated. I have looked for jwplayer add-ons for Firefox and came up blank.

Problem was caused by extension Blur 7.8..2431. The setting to block trackers was on for all web sites. Turning the block tracker setting to "off" for The Hill solved the problem. This setting can be turned off or on as needed, or turned off/on permanently for any or all websites. Pkshadow, thanks again.

HI, please try : SAFE MODE

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:

  • all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
  • default theme is used (no persona)
  • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
  • default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
  • Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
  • hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
  • plugins are not affected
  • preferences are not affected

TEST''''is issue still there ?

Pkshadow,

Thanks for the suggestions. The issue does not occur in safe mode, which is good, but it will take me some time to further explore the issue. Simply turning off the hardware acceleration option does not solve the issue, so it is likely one (or more) of my extensions. If it is not, I may re-post here for additional advice.
