I added a secondary account to my Firefox account via my PC and decided I wanted my secondary email to be the primary email. I made the switch without any issues on PC however Firefox for Android asked me to sign-in afterwards. I assumed this was because of the change. I put in my password and it failed saying "Primary account email required for sign-in". There is no option on the Android sign-in to change what email you're trying to log in to. It simply is still trying to use my old primary email as the login email. I figured it may take some time for the app to sync with the PC change. After waiting a couple days, nothing changed and I couldn't try using a the secondary email to log in. I figured that it is a bug but I would deal with it. I updated back my original email as the primary email. It's been at least a week and I still receive the same login error.

How can I either login with the old email or update the log in to use the new email (assuming I change it to the newer secondary email)? I have already cleared cache for the app and rebooted my phone. This is on a Google Pixel 2.

No, are you suggesting I forgot my gmail password? I had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox on my Android. Unfortunately it removes all of my add-ons so I have to reconfigure them.
