Hi. I just added a new bookmark subfolder, and want to move it up to a new position within it's folder. When I try to drag and drop it in the Bookmark Sidebar (as you can do in Google Chrome), it won't move. Is it possible to organize bookmark folders by moving them in Firefox, and if so, how can it be done?

Hi er1jn4, You can drag bookmarks & folders in the Bookmark Sidebar. Sometimes, it's just difficult to see. You should notice a hash mark behind the item as you drag it. Maybe it would be easier to see in the Bookmarks Library: Ctrl+Shift+B or, Library button on your toolbar -> Bookmarks at the bottom of the drop-sown select Show All Bookmarks.

Hi, RobertJ. Thanks very much for your reply. It still doesn't work for me, even in the Bookmarks Library view. Or maybe I'm not understanding correctly how to do it...

I made a video capture to show this, but I'm unable to attach it (it's an mp4 file). Apparently, only images can be attached to messages. Is there any way I can send the video capture for you to see?

    It does. "Bread" says so.

Thanks for the picture. Actually, I didn't need to use it, as when I went back to try to use the info in the picture, I thought I'd try to drag and drop the folder again, and this time it worked. I did it exactly the same as when I tried before and it didn't work. Strange. But it's working ok now. Thanks for your replies.

And strangely also, another problem in Firefox has inexplicably resolved itself, which was - when I would open a conversation in Facebook Messenger, it would automatically scroll all the way to the very beginning of the conversation (which would sometimes take a long time).

Hello er1jn4,

Would you be so kind as to mark RobertJ's first post as Chosen Solution ?

(it's the "Solved the problem" button to the right of his post)

Even though you didn't need to have it explained; it will be helpful to others who don't know how to drag and drop a folder.

Thank you in advance (BTW: well done !).
