FireFox ESR updates
I've noticed this on a few workstations now that, after using FireFox ESR for period of time, it will pop up a new opportunity when the browser is first opened, offering an "Fresh" new update experience to the latest version of FireFox.
However in all cases so far when the user clicks to update, they have been updated to the rapid-release version of the program, and the "esr" portion is gone. Along with changed settings, etc. To answer what would seem obvious in every case: Automatic updating, and using a background service is already checked. The replaced browser was already on the latest release prior to the "update". How can this be changed?
Thank you.

That's not good. Can you post a screenshot of that so I can investigate where it's coming from?
I will put out a memo to have the users call me when they see next next notice (preferably before they hit the update button). I will forward then. It is the same notice on the bottom of a full screen FF launch, as if you had not used the FF browser in a long time (not sure how "long" is in this case). It states that you haven't used it in a while, then asks if you would like to update to a fresh new look. You are allowed to hit the X on the right side of the popup if you don't want to. I'll send when I get notified, or if I can reproduce somehow. Thank you. Eric
Are those users on the ESR update channel if they check this on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page ?
Were you able to catch this again?
