FF 89.01 weirdness, anyone else?
Since the download of 89.01, my drop down menus on some features will not stay visible. They flicker on, and off.... gone. This happens on my search engine toolbar, plus on other sites that have a drop down menu fields for saved information. It works for for the main FF menu's drop down options across the top (i.e. File, Edit, View, History< bookmarks, Tools, Help).
I can occasionally cheat it by holding the left mouse button down and dragging it to where the drop down menu flickered for a brief nanosecond, but it often takes 3-4 times to get it to stay visible and select an option.
Additionally it seems to affect a few other features, such as when I hit the hold down the CTRL button, the window zooms/resizes larger. huh? That's a real pain in the butt when using copy/paste short cuts.
I've tried refreshing FF, checked settings. I have no add ons. Standard theme. Note: Windows 10, Version 10.0.19041 Building 19041, FF version 89.01 64bit, HP Desktop computer, Model 510-p020.
FF 88 is still on my HP laptop, and I don't have an issue with that computer or FF version. You won't find me updating that until this is sorted out. This all showed up with FF 89. At this point I'm wanting to find FF 88 to reinstall, but can't find a download for that except for 3rd party sites, and I'm not going there.
Anyone else experiencing this? And is there a solution I'm missing, or a fix on the horizon? Thank you so much for your assistance.

Yes FredMcD. I forgot to mention I had read the old circa 2011 questions on the forum that experienced similar problems. Thus I had already tried the "Safe" mode. It was no different.
That said, it's a new day. This morning I powered up figuring that since I was experiencing scrolling and random movement issues, I'd be troubleshooting my mouse. Well, that wasn't necessary as all the scrolling problems I had disappeared. Same mouse... no battery changes, no reset of the USB interface. huh? Then I went to try my FF drop downs. That's working as well this morning. So I'm wondering if, yesterday, the computer just took a left turn somewhere and just needed a simple reboot after a good rest? And I'm sorry to have bothered you. I will add to this if it comes back. But fingers crossed, it was just some sort of a fluke yesterday.
Thank you for your time.

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Sometimes, a problem is solved by closing the program or rebooting the system.
