I use AVG 2011. Just upgraded to it. Upon upgrading, decided to do a full computer scan. It found only 2 hits: ------------------ C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe (528) C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe (528):\memory_00010000 ------------------ Its being listed as a Trojan horse agent_r.XJ The :\memory_ .... one is inaccessible, but the firefox.exe one itself is listed as cleaned/healed. I have run this scan after going into safe mode, and nothing pops up at all. I downloaded firefox from: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/download.html?product=firefox-3.6.13&os=win&lang=en-US I have also received a similar effect on Internet Explorer. I initially decided to uninstall Firefox and reinstall fresh from downloading from the website (Uninstalled -> Scan -> Found Clean -> Used IE to Re-download). On the IE portion, after I installed Firefox, I ran my scan again. Both Firefox and IE (as well as the respective :\memory... thing) popped up as a Trojan horse agent_r.XJ Cleared them out, and now I'm here. Currently lists firefox as a trojan still, so I'm wondering if it's actually just AVG messing up, or if my computer is currently compromised.
