Have you tried using '''View -> Toolbars ->[x] navigation toolbar''' and un-checking the item by clicking on it, to deselect. The method you are using may well drag the bookmark items i.e. the individual bookmarks and bookmark folders off, but leave behind the, presumably, empty toolbar. ( If the remaining bookmarks toolbar is not empty what remains on it? - that may be a clue) If my suggestion above, fails then next try: # when the customise toolbars ( ? customize) option is available try using the option ''' "restore default set" ''' that it offers. # after that if you still have a problem consider #* is a plugin causing the problem, especially any related to search use or bookmark use see [[troubleshooting plugins]] #*[[is my firefox problem a result of malware]]
