Firefox crashes when trying to access Printer Properties
I have a Dell AIO Printer A920. I have never had printing problems with Firefox until I upgraded to Firefox 4. I am having a few problems now. The whole page is not printing anymore even though it is set to Shrink to Fit. I have to adjust the scale in order to get everything and sometimes this does not work either. On Print Preview I only get one or two pages even though the printing job would be four or five pages. In other words, parts of the whole document are missing. What is happening more also is that when I click Print and the Print box come on with my printer's name, if I click print, it would print but if I click on Properties to adjust the settings, I get the error message: Function address OxO caused a protection fault. (exception code Oxc0000005) The application property sheet pages(s) may not function property Then If I click OK, Firefox crashes. I can print OK and go into the properties box with no crashes or error messages from Internet Explorer. I rarely use Explorer because I love Firefox. This tells me that nothing is wrong with my printer but that something is preventing the printer from working properly with Firefox. I can also print from my Adobe Reader documents with no problems.
Could you please help. It would be greatly appreciated.

PS: I have been searching in the meantime and the only solution seems to be to remove Firefox 4 and download it again. I am afraid to do this and loose my information. I have hundreds of bookmarks that I use all of the time.

I have a simillar problem with a different printer (Lexmark Z612) - https://support.mozilla.com/pl/questions/803058 - it seems that Firefox 4 should be beta-tested for much more time, because it is obviously underdone...
I am glad I am not the only one. I did a full report of the crash that you can also do by going to the home page of Firefox help. On the left side where it says Explore Help Topics, click on Firefox Crashes. It would tell you how to do a full report. I have not heard from them yet but maybe if enough people report it it would be fixed soon.

Try disabling this Plugin and see if that helps.

I disabled this Plugin, closed Firefox and restarted it again. I tried printing an email but before printing it I clicked on properties and the error message came up again. I clicked OK on the error message and Firefox crashed again. In other words your solution did not work. This is what is been happening since downloading Firefox 4. If just want to print, it prints OK, but I always go to the properties to click on quick print to save ink. Plus I am having the problem with the Print Preview only showing part of what I want to print and also missing words at the margins of the printout. None of this happens with my other browsers or applications. Below is a picture of the error message and the printer Properties when they are displayed correctly from another browser. Also the way the Printer Properties looks after you click on the error message. Should I enable Mozilla ActiveX control and plugin module again?
