I have had no end of problems saving my tab groups and losing them and rebuilding them. I have had plenty of help from cor-el but it's still happening BUT if I go Private Browsing will that page count as my "show my windows and tabs from last session" and re-load next session. I always close with one of my tab groups open for a "show my windows and tabs from last session" and 8 times of 10 all my Tab Groups appear.
