Check that you keep history.

• Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history" > "Remember my browsing history"

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.

• To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Firefox > Preferences > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
• Deselect: [ ] "Permanent Private Browsing mode"

Make sure that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed because that prevails and prevents Firefox from opening tabs from the previous session.

Thanks, but my problem is that I cannot see my recent history. I can access most of previous months' history but none of the current month's.

I have checked all of the other suggested options such as making sure I'm not in private browsing mode, that I don't clear my recent history to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed, and I do have remember my recent history checked in the custom settings menu.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
