Hi ved0607, Why don't you try temporarily changing your downloads to Desktop or something like that to see if it works. If that doesn't work you should look at the article [[Preferences are not saved]]. You could also try starting Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit.
