pages opening in plain text and no graphics

When opening webpages (any) the pages are displayed in plain text (black and white) in one margin on the right side, with no graphics.

If you see the article Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should, do the steps in there help you any?

clearing the cached seems to have worked for me!
