After an update from Mozilla, I caught a bug that made certain pages unable to be viewed, and made the touch pad/mouse flip settings left/right side. I have ran Norton on this laptop since I bought it, and it find nothing. Malware finds nothing. I've been deleting all cache & cookies daily, and that only help temporarely. It's a bug that only work/is active when connected to the internet. If I work offline, the mouse & touchpad stay set. Also if I use explorer, it stays set. I've tried to un-install Firefox to see if the bug would go away, but as soon as I re-installed it, it was back.. What is it and how do I get rid of it?

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Thank you for the reply! I tried it, but sorry - it didn't work! I restarted the machine and after 2 minutes, the pages froze and the mouse flipped sides again..
