How do I register for Mozilla Community support
I needed to register to post a question etc on the Mozilla Community forums. The fact that I have managed to post this question obviously means I have succeeded. Whilst trying to find how to register, it was not easy, I found similar questions from other users who presumably were having the same problem as I was. There appears to be no register button on the sign in page which there usually is when registering on most sites. This led to me going around in circles until I eventually followed the correct procedure. Could it be made a bit simpler. I have only recently downloaded Firefox so I am I am still finding my way around.

If you have any questions or problems, this is where to go. Go to the top of any Mozilla.org web page and use the Ask A Question link; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new This will let us look at your system details. No Personal Information Is Collected.
Hi FredMcD, thanks for your prompt response. It seems in order to register a person needs to follow through the process of first looking for similar queries, posting a question , looking at possible solutions and if there isn't one the register option will be offered. I understand this process is probably in place to avoid unnecessary or spurious questions being posted, so no immediate register button. I am new to all this so still finding my way around.
I echo the frustrations expressed by others, that there is no logical registration process, and no way to reply to a post if one is not registered. As far as I can tell, in order to reply to a post when you are not registered, you must create a dummy question then say there is no answer, and then you are invited to register!??
I don't like to criticize Thunderbird because I have used it for many years. It just seems to me this awkward route to register was a clever idea taken too far.
Woeful - the fact that there's no 'register' option on the 'signin' page suggests it's deliberately been made difficult.
