I have a number of (email address) lists in a particular address book, and I would like to determine if any of these addresses are present in more than one list. Besides a manual brute-force check, is there any way to do this?

ISTR that the MoreColumnsForAddressBook addon provides a feature to tell you which Lists any particular Contact is a member of. It's not a perfect solution.

If you have many or large lists then exporting them to csv file and doing your checking in a spreadsheet might be a more productive method. That same addon might be useful here too.
