I have 100+ tabs in 7 windows. Routinely. From the viewpoint of performance what is better:

1. One window + TabGroup Manager (Tabs within tabs) + 100 tabs + only used tabs loaded (I have unload tab addon) 2. 7 windows + multiple tabs in each window + only used tabs loaded (I have unload tab addon)

I didn't think that tab groups was anymore. From a performance standpoint both use the same memory afaik. about:memory could tell you otherwise.
