I have a security system take I can access via the internet to view the cameras in real time. When using Internet Explorer the system downloads some ActiveX control files on the remote computer to enable remote viewing. My question is: Does Mozilla Firefox support this type of protocol, IE ActiveX control files? And if so how do I allow the files to be downloaded to my Levono Tab 2 A8-50F? Thanks

No, ActiveX controls are proprietary to Microsoft Windows and run only on Microsoft browsers.

The proprietary ActiveX only works on the Internet Explorer IE browsers as the new Edge on Windows does not support it.
