NO SPAM FOLDER IN MOZILLA THUNDERBIRD

more options

I would like to have a spam folder in Mozilla Thunderbird. I have AOL as my email client. It would make things simpler if there was a spam folder so the spam messages can sync right to that folder. I don't like going on the web at www.aol.com just to check for spam messages. So please add a spam folder to Mozilla Thunderbird in the next update and by the way, let's keep the junk folder too.

Was a spam folder one of the choices? If so it should show along with all the other folders for that account.

Thunderbird does not use the word Spam or create a Spam folder.

If your account at AOL is IMAP then subscribe to it so it shows. If AOL only offers POP then that is not going to happen.

I do have an AOL account. You said if my AOL account is IMAP then subscribe to it so the spam folder shows. What do you mean by subscribing to it?

From the Menu Bar select File-Subscribe

If your menu bar is hidden press the alt key.

I did what you said. Go to FILE, then select SUBSCRIBE. All of the folders were already selected; then I hit OK. Now where is the Spam folder?

I found out what I did. I had deleted the spam folder; then when you said the spam folder should be there; I created a spam folder; hit subscribe and I now see the spam folder with the spam messages downloaded to it. Thanks for the great help!
