Script running error
I continually get script running error. I installed YesScript and it helps but then there are certain portion of a page that do not show properly. For example when I Blacklist usatoday there are portions of the page that do not show up and if I do not blacklist then I get script errors.
There must be better solution and I would appreciate your advice.

Does it mention a name of the script?
Can you attach a screenshot?
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-do-i-create-screenshot-my-problem
- use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
- make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB
I have attached a screen show of an example. This one is from foxnews but I get it on usatoday and msn also.
try upgrading your pc specs or reset firefox.
My PC is an I7 with all of the latest software.
How do I "reset" Firefox?
I did a "refresh" (Help\troubleshoot\refresh) and immediately got a script error (see attached) just after I got the error I get a message that Adobe Flash Player crashed.
Is it possible that flash is the source of my problem?
I have attached 2 screen prints of my plug-ins and the last plugin shows a problem. Please advise
You can check for issues caused by plugins.
- set plugins to "Ask to Activate" on the about:addons page ("3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Plugins)
- plugins are not affected by Firefox Safe Mode
The first three plugins only have "always activate" and the option to ask to activate is greyed out. I changed the 4th plugin to ask.
You mentioned that about safe mode. I will check on how to run in safe mode bit what does it stop from running?
I have been running in safe mode for about a day and have not had a script error. When using Firefox in normal mode I have sometimes gone more than a day without a script error but I am hopeful.
If no script error occurs, does that mean that one of my add-ons is causing the problem? If so should I just run in normal mode and disable all add-ons except for one at a time to see which is causing the problem.
I have been running Firefox in normal mode and have had very few script errors. Even though I am in normal mode I have disabled Shockwave Flash and Shockwave for Director. Most of the other plugins I have as ask to activate.
How can I delete the plugins that I disabled?
I have finally given up on Firefox. The script errors kept reoccurring no matter what I did with plug-ins or extensions.
My browser is now Chrome
