Lightning won't sync with iCloud Calendar
Attempt to add calendar in Lightning. File - New - Calendar. Create a new calendar - On the Network. CalDAV. Location: https://p01-caldav.icloud.com/<somenumbers>)/calendars/<CalendarName>/. Offline Support checked. Name: CalendarName. Show Reminders: checked. Email: None. Then it says "Your calendar has been created" and a pop-up appears with: Authentication Required - A username and password are being requested by https://p01-caldav.icloud.com. The site says: "MMCalDav" - User Name: <here I add my user name> - Password: <here I add my password> and click OK. Calendar is shown, but greyed-out. Go to properties to "Switch this calendar on" and it turns on for a microsecond, then greys-out again. Need help. Suggestions? Thanks

I would say you have the wrong URL. given the caldav protocol is basically a web page request, the 404 error has the same meaning as in a web page "Page not found"
I would almost guarantee that the XXXXXXXX part is not correct or that calendarname is also in error.
without looking I would say calendarname should be you calendar name, like business or whatever else you called it and the XXXXXXX part should be your user name or the like on icloud.
Looking here suggests the naming convention of https://p01-caldav.icloud.com/<user_id>/calendars/<calendar_id>/

open the error console. (ctrl+J) Clear it. enable the calendar again. What appears in the error console. I expect some sort of authentication issue. But I do think we will see something.
Matt, many thanks for the reply. Below is the error console info. Does it mean I don't have the correct address for the calendar?
