Hi, I've read through the various documents on related posts and I realize that Thunderbird doesn't use [SPAM] tags, but I'm flumoxed -- why do they keep appearing in my mail? I use AVG as my anti-virus software but I don't think I've set anything like this up there. The weird thing is that the one e-mail that gets tagged like this happens to be mu husband! Anyone have any ideas why this e-mail always comes in with a [SPAM] prefix?

Windows 10, Thunderbird Version 45.3.0

Thanks for suggestions, Nancy

Given that it's not Thunderbird and you seem to be confident that it's not AVG doing it, then you should look to your email provider and see if they are running a spam filter.
