Meetings are assigned to the wrong calendar and I can't change them.
When I accept a meeting invitation in Thunderbird, it is added to my Lightning calendar. However, it is added using the wrong calendar. Furthermore, I can't edit the meeting to assign it to the right calendar. How can I fix this?

Each calendar has an email address assigned. Right-click the calendar - Properties. Is the email address assigned to your pool hours calendar the same as the email address the meeting invitation has been sent to? If so, you know why the meeting invitation ends up in your pool hours calendar. You'd need to assign the email address the meeting invitation has been sent to to your business calendar. You don't need to assign any email address to your pool hours calendar.
I can't change the calendar the meeting is assigned to.
When opening an event for editing you should be able to select a different calendar for it.

is the invitation coming in through a GMail account? Their default setting is to accept invitations on their server before Thunderbird ever sees the email.
Thanks for the reply Matt, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. The invitation is not coming in through a Gmail account. Also, it isn't accepted when I first see it in Thunderbird.
To describe the problem a little more, I have a calendar where I've put the local swimming pool hours. When I'm planning my day, I turn that calendar on to see when I might swing by the pool. I usually turn that calendar off as soon as I'm done planning. If, for some reason, I accept a business meeting while that calendar is open, that's when the problem occurs -- new business meetings get put into my pool calendar, which then gets turned off, and I don't see my upcoming meetings.
Once a meeting goes into the wrong calendar, it seems there is nothing I can do. I can't change the calendar the meeting is assigned to. If I delete the meeting and re-accept it, it still goes into the wrong calendar.

I think you found the problem! My pool calendar had my work email assigned to it, and no other calendar did. I've fixed that, and I'm confident things will behave properly from now on. Thanks.

As for changing the calendar for a meeting: I've tried editing meeting events, but I don't have the option to change the assigned calendar like I do for normal events. In other words, managed meeting events give me different options than normal events, and the option to change the calendar is not among them. In any case, I'm not concerned about that now that I've learned about the email thing.
When your problem is fixed, can you mark the topic as 'Solved' please? Thank you.
