Is there really only one person/author who holds the key i.e. code to make this seemingly simple task function? This is just one of the reasons I am becoming more and more inclined to make Chrome my primary choice of browser. I think it would be a logical step to make this permanent as an option in Views > Show Columns.

A possible workaround is to open the bookmark in a tab (possibly in offline mode) and click the star. If you expand the folder pane then you should see where the bookmark is located.
